Information We Collect
Luna collects information needed to provide the service, including account information, wishlist content, saved item details, shared list activity, and basic technical information.
When you use Sign in with Apple, Luna receives an Apple account identifier, the real or private relay email address Apple provides, and your name if you choose to share it. Luna encrypts retained Apple credential material and uses it to manage and revoke Apple authorization. Luna processes verified Apple notifications about authorization and email-forwarding changes to maintain your account's sign-in state.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate Luna, maintain accounts, save and organize lists, enable sharing, improve product reliability, provide support, and protect the service from misuse.
Wishlist and Shared List Content
Items, links, images, notes, and list details you save may be visible to people you choose to share a list with. Do not share a list with anyone you do not want to access that list.
Third-Party Links
Luna lets users save links to third-party websites. We do not control those websites or their privacy practices.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers to help operate Luna, such as hosting, storage, analytics, email delivery, or infrastructure providers.
Account Deletion
You can delete your Luna account within the app. Deleting your account removes your Luna account and associated user data. If you used Sign in with Apple and Apple authorization cannot be revoked immediately, we retain only the minimum encrypted Apple credential material needed to complete Apple-required authorization revocation. This material is used solely for revocation, not for product features, analytics, marketing, personalization, or account recovery. It is deleted after successful revocation or within seven days of account deletion, whichever comes first.
For new images stored and served by Luna, removing the image or deleting its item or account immediately stops access through Luna. We then delete the stored image, normally within 24 hours. If a storage outage delays deletion, the image remains inaccessible through Luna and we continue deletion attempts. During that time, the image is retained only to complete deletion and is not used for any other purpose.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
